About Music Maniac

Music Maniac began on April 1st, 2009, inside the home of our founder, Joel Mogera , a place where passion for music turned into something much bigger. What started as a small home setup, filled with instruments, laughter, and endless practice sessions, soon became a space where friends and students came together to learn, play, and share their love for music.

As word spread and more people joined the journey, we took a big step forward in 2014, moving from our cozy home studio to a professional location. That move marked the beginning of Music Maniac as a true music hub, a place where creativity met opportunity.

After years of growth, hard work, and unforgettable memories, we reached another milestone in 2024, when we proudly purchased our very own property. Owning our space felt like a dream come true - a reflection of how far we’ve come since that first day in 2009.

At the heart of it all is Joel Mogera - a mentor, musician, and the driving force behind Music Maniac. Beyond running the academy, Joel has also served as a judge at numerous music events and competitions, always encouraging young artists to push their limits and follow their rhythm.

From our humble beginnings at home to the vibrant community we are today, Music Maniac has always been about one thing - sharing the love of music and helping others find their sound.
