Online Phonics Classes for Kids - Taught by Mrs. Neema Jai Krishnan, Jolly Phonics Certified Trainer with over 14 years of experience in Early Education, and a dedicated Children's Author.
At Learning Station, we offer one-to-one online phonics classes designed to help children become confident readers and effective communicators. Our interactive programs focus on reading, spelling, and correct pronunciation, ensuring each child gets personalized attention to build strong foundational skills.
We offer two specialized programs:
Phonics First Stop: Perfect for beginners aged 4+, this program introduces letter sounds, blending, segmenting, and early decoding skills - setting the foundation for a lifetime of reading.
Reading Express: Tailored for early readers ready to advance, this program develops fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, and confidence through structured, story-based learning.
As a Children's Author, I also create engaging, phonics-based storybooks that enhance my teaching programs. These books are designed to make learning fun while reinforcing essential skills, helping kids develop a lasting love for reading.

About Course
Phonics First Stop is a specially designed beginner course that introduces young learners to letter sounds, blending and early reading skills in a fun and engaging way. In this program, your child will :Learn 36+ letter sounds to build a strong phonics foundation. Master blending and segmenting words with up to 8 letters. Recognize and use 60+ tricky words essential for fluent reading. Expand vocabulary through interactive games and stories. Practice clear pronunciation and correct sound formation. Read and write simple sentences confidently. Develop early comprehension skills by reading short stories and answering questions.By the end of Phonics First Stop, your child will be able to :Confidently recognize and pronounce all 36+ letter sounds. Blend and segment words up to 8 letters independently. Read and write simple sentences with ease. Recognize and spell 60+ tricky words. Understand and respond to questions on short stories. Build a solid foundation for ongoing reading and spelling success.
Reading Express - for children transitioning into fluent reading

About Course
Reading Express is the next step for children who already know basic phonics and can read simple 3–4 letter words. This program is designed to strengthen reading fluency, build confidence, expand vocabulary and develop writing skills through structured, engaging practice.In this program, your child will :Read and write words up to 8–10 letters confidently. Understand and apply advanced phonics patterns. Improve reading fluency through sentence and story reading. Develop writing skills including word construction, sentence formation and spelling. Strengthen comprehension through guided discussions and questions. Begin independent reading of short storybooks and early readers.By the end of Reading Express, your child will be able to :Confidently read and write longer words using complex phonics. Apply phonics skills to decode and spell unfamiliar words. Read sentences and stories fluently with improved expression. Construct well-formed sentences and write with accuracy. Comprehend and discuss story content thoughtfully. Enjoy independent reading of age-appropriate books.

I’m Mrs. Neema Jai Krishnan, and I’m so glad you’re here.
I started Learning Station in 2016 with a simple dream - to help children build strong English language skills with joy, confidence, and creativity. What began as small in-person sessions soon grew into a trusted space for young learners to discover the power of reading, speaking, and storytelling.
As more families sought flexibility, we transitioned to live, interactive online sessions - making learning more accessible while holding on to the warmth, quality, and personal connection we’re known for. This shift has allowed us to bring our joyful teaching approach into many more homes, without losing what matters most: individual attention, fun, and progress.
Backed by TESOL training in Early Education (TESOL Canada), Jolly Phonics certification, and certified as an IELTS trainer by the British Council and IDP, I bring globally recognized methods into child-friendly, engaging experiences.
In addition to being a passionate educator, I’m also a children's author, creating stories designed to inspire young minds. Through my decodable books and personalized stories, I aim to nurture a love for reading while strengthening literacy skills in a fun and accessible way.
